Terms of use
Last updated: 21 October 2026
These terms apply to everyone who uses churchedin.com, published by David Verleysen (0736.831.794), Moorsledestraat 131, 1020 Brussels, Belgium ("ChurchedIn", "we"). By using the website you accept these terms.
1. What ChurchedIn is
ChurchedIn is an independent online directory of Christian churches and of Christian organisations (such as student movements, Bible schools, prayer and mission networks, charities and conference organisers). It helps people find a church by location, language and denomination, and find Christian events and organisations. Everything in these terms about churches also applies to organisations.
2. Accuracy of information
We do our best to keep listings accurate, but information about churches (such as service times, addresses or languages) can change and may come from public sources. Listings marked "Not yet verified" have not been confirmed by the church. Please check important details with the church directly before visiting. Being listed does not mean a church is affiliated with, recommended by, or endorsed by ChurchedIn.
3. Corrections and removal
Churches and anyone concerned can ask us to correct or remove information via "Suggest a correction" on a church's page or by emailing hello@churchedin.com. We handle requests as quickly as reasonably possible.
4. Submitting information
When you submit a church, a correction or any other content, you confirm that it is accurate to the best of your knowledge, that you are allowed to share it, and that it is not unlawful, offensive or misleading. You give ChurchedIn a free, non-exclusive, worldwide permission to publish, edit, translate and display it on ChurchedIn. We may refuse, shorten or remove any submission.
5. Church representatives
People who manage a church's page on ChurchedIn confirm that they are authorised to do so by the church. They are responsible for the information and photos they publish: these must be accurate, lawful and respectful, and photos may only be uploaded with the right to use them and with the permission of people who are clearly recognisable. Managing a church page and publishing events is free. ChurchedIn may edit or remove content and withdraw access, for example after a complaint or if the information is incorrect.
6. Acceptable use
You may not misuse the website — for example by trying to break its security, overloading it, collecting data from it automatically on a large scale, or using it for unlawful purposes.
7. Intellectual property
The design, texts, logo and software of ChurchedIn belong to ChurchedIn (David Verleysen) or its licensors. Some church information comes from © OpenStreetMap contributors and is available under the Open Database License. Church names, logos and photos belong to their respective owners.
8. Links to other websites
We link to churches' websites and other sites we don't control. We are not responsible for their content or privacy practices.
9. Liability
ChurchedIn is provided free of charge and "as is". To the extent permitted by Belgian law, we are not liable for damage resulting from the use of the website or from incorrect or outdated information, except in case of intent or gross negligence on our part.
10. Changes
We may change these terms. The current version is always available on this page.
11. Applicable law
These terms are governed by Belgian law. Disputes fall under the jurisdiction of the courts of Brussels, without prejudice to mandatory consumer protection rules.
Paid services (such as the church page subscription) will be governed by separate terms of sale.
